Japan Airport Access

Cost & time from every major Japanese airport to the city center.

What this solves

Generic booking widgets only price train or taxi. They don't show that Narita has 4 different train lines, 2 bus companies, and a fixed-fare taxi; that Haneda's Tokyo Monorita is faster than Keikyu to Shinjuku but more expensive; that KIX has Haruka Express (JR West) but you can also take the Nankai Rapido Limited to Nankai for half; that Itami (Osaka domestic) and KIX (international) are different airports 50 minutes apart. This tool lets you pick.

Limitations

2026 reference prices. Late-night options (after 23:00) cost ¥3,000-5,000 extra on taxi; some trains stop at 22:00. IC card discount on Skyliner is now sold as a 1-day pass (¥1,200). Always reconfirm on the official airport or operator site.

FAQ

Is NEX free with JR Pass?

Yes, since 2023. JR Pass holders ride N'EX to/from Narita and Haneda at no extra cost. Note: only N'EX, not Skyliner (Keisei) or Access Express (Keisei).

Why is my flight at Itami but I land in Kansai?

Itami (ITM) handles only domestic flights. International flights go to KIX. The two airports are 50 km / 50 minutes apart by car. Check carefully when booking.

Are there late-night buses?

Yes. Limousine Bus has overnight services from Narita/Haneda (¥4,000-5,000), leaving every 30-60 min until 02:00.
